CodeRun 2021

Throughout the week 19-25 April took place CodeRun2021, an on-line IT competition, initiated by BEST Cluj-Napoca.As Partners for this event, we had the chance to meet many passionate students, during the webinar on “Security in Internet Applications”, presented by our colleague, Csaba Németi, as well as during the days of competition. The webinar approached themes as: Symmetric and Asymmetric Encryption, Message Digest and Message Authentication Code (MAC), SSL, TLS, securing e-mail and HTTPS.
We allocated 2 mentors to offer support to the different teams, for the test proposed by us (API HMAC Authentication) and to judge the solutions that they wrote during the competition.
We want to congratulate the winner team: MSC, composed of three passionate students who had the best technical approach to solv the challenge. Beside the first prize, we offered two second prizes, one to the team "Born in Cugir" and the other to a student who solved the problem well.
